we are using wp autotranslate with the deepl integration and now I can see in the translation it uses a formal tone. I have been going through the deepl API instructions and see that it can be changed to informal tone but this I believe has to be done by you as this is in the backend. Our website does German and Dutch and I see for those target languages it works.

Can you change this for us?

See below info from Deepl API instructions:

      formality
      optional
      body
      string
Sets whether the translated text should lean towards formal or informal language. This feature currently only works for target languages DE (German), FR (French), IT (Italian), ES (Spanish), NL (Dutch), PL (Polish), PT-PT, PT-BR (Portuguese) and RU (Russian). Setting this parameter with a target language that does not support formality will fail, unless one of the prefer_… options are used. Possible options are:

      default (default)
more – for a more formal language
less – for a more informal language
prefer_more – for a more formal language if available, otherwise fallback to default formality
prefer_less – for a more informal language if available, otherwise fallback to default formality

As I don’t seem to get any feedback on my request I want to get a refund as I am not going to pay for a plugin where there is no customer service
